Kira Fath (Kira Tortion) is an interdisciplinary artist who grew up dancing in Chicago, IL. They completed their bachelors degree at Oberlin College. It was there they fell into the school’s student circus group O!Circus and chose to follow their calling at the School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts and Circus Warehouse.

In 2014 they completed NECCA’s professional performance program and have since trained with the city’s top coaches, including Anna Venizelos, Jonathan Nosan, Jan Manke, and Brenna Bradbury. They have since gone on to coach in NYC and beyond at spaces such as French Woods Festival, Circus Harmony, Body & Pole, and OM Factory. Their passion for circus arts has drawn them not only to contortion but to a wide variety of disciplines both as a performer and a coach.

Kira’s strong dance background and natural mobility gives them a versatile edge as a performer. Their body of work has spanned from corporate event entertainment to drag infused acrobatics and massive stage shows. They have performed with Broadway Bares and Cedar Point as well as in venues around NYC such as the Slipper Room, DROM, Dixon Place, and The Muse.
