Kira Fath (Kira Tortion) is an interdisciplinary artist from Chicago, IL. After spending their youth in the dance world they completed their bachelors degree at Oberlin College. At Oberlin they fell into the school’s student circus group O!Circus and chose to follow their calling at the School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts and Circus Warehouse.
In 2014 they completed NECCA’s professional performance program. They have worked with NYC’s top coaches, including Anna Venizelos, Jonathan Nosan, Jan Manke, and Brenna Bradbury. They have since gone on to coach in NYC and beyond at spaces such as French Woods Festival, Circus Harmony, Body & Pole, and OM Factory. Their passion for circus arts has drawn them to a wide variety of disciplines both as a performer and a coach.
Kira’s strong dance background and well rounded skill set. Their body of work has spanned from private event entertainment to drag infused acrobatics to high production stage shows. They have performed with Broadway Bares and Cedar Point as well as in venues around NYC such as the Slipper Room, DROM, Dixon Place, and The Muse. Kira currently works with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway.
